Our girls loved it too, especially Maggie, who, despite being female, gets very excited by aircraft, laughing with delight as they took off, and yelling ‘up and up and up!’ Wish I’d known about it. Life Flight are having an open day on Sunday the 18th, which people (male or female) who love aircraft might want to attend Hah! We crossed paths mate... I’m in the background of your photo of the Trojan. Just wish I could make it down to Wanaka, they’re gonna have a lot more rather nice birds down there. They were flying the Zero down from Tauranga on Sat, apparently refueled at Blenheim around 1300, pity they didn’t stop in to WLG instead. Yeah, I briefly saw you receding into the distance with Hunter and someone who looked remarkably like a father or father in law Given how keen Ada was on the show in the weekend, I’m thinking we might hike down to Wanaka next year. Hearing about that ludicrous criticism, I feel rather guilty about being so unenthusiastic about me going. I am thrilled that you’re sharing your enjoyment of planes with Ada. She obviously had a brilliant time and loved it. |
