After London I'm back in Canberra, doing a postdoc.

Things geeky:

• I wrote and maintain xp, a micropause utility which some people find useful in controlling RSI.
• Some papers are starting to come out of my research.
• I wrote cephalopod, a squid simulator, and used it to test some ideas about web caching algorithms that have an idea of "peak" and "offpeak" times. There was a paper about it in AusWeb '99.

Things less geeky:

• By popular request: photos and words from my trip to the Great Barrier Reef in June/July 2000.
• Collected email rants from my trip across Australia, Asia and Europe in 2001-2.
